Galápagos Day 11 - Black Turtle Cove, Isla Santa Cruz

Today was a light day adventure-wise. In the morning we had an extended panga ride through another mangrove forest (similar to Elizabeth Bay on the evening of Day 6), this time at Black Turtle Cove on the north coast of Isla Santa Cruz.

Similar to Elizabeth Bay, there were several small, wildlife-infested rock outcrops near the entrance to Black Turtle Cove and plenty of wildlife within the mangrove to keep a bunch photographers entertained for two hours.

The afternoon was spent on the boat in Baltra harbour, queued up to refuel, which gave us a little time to recuperate and catch up on diaries, photographs and, for some, lying around on Baltra beach.
